Statement
Through artistic means, I seek to subvert the narratives embedded within the structures of everyday life. I am interested in the discrepancies between common sense and the logic of necessity produced by progress. I crystallize these tensions through sculpture, installation, and performance as my primary mediums.

A central concern of my practice is the confrontation between the “high” and the “low.” Within this friction, the gap between elevated intentions and their often comically inadequate outcomes becomes visible—outcomes that nevertheless remain recognizable and sympathetic expressions of human nature.

I am inspired by human ingenuity and by people's ability to adapt to the social and material conditions of an ever-changing world.
